Is service tax payable against rent received can be adjusted against service provided by the provider for repair of the same properties?

My view, Input cannot be taken

Beg to differ with expert Ramesh as there is no one to one relationship between input and output service or production and vice versa. Only condition for input credit is input service must be related to output service or production.
So in my opinion the input credit for repairing can be adjusted against service tax payable on rent.
