We are a private limited company involved in works contract . we are giving sub contract ( labor contract ) to some individuals and partner ship firms who is not having not service Tax registration . I want to knew Where any service tax is
Applicable to us as a awarder ?. if yes What is the Rate of tax applicable ?
Can we avail in put credit ?

IF COMPANY FAIL TO DEDUCT AND PAY ESIC CONTRIBUTION (BOTH EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE C0NTRIBUTION) WHAT WILL BE CONSEQUENSES ?

Hi Team,
I need small clarification with regard to HRA Calculation for Tax.

One of my Employee joined our Company on 23rd Nov 2012 and as per this we have calculated HRA from his DOJ for HRA exemption.

But employee raising is query stating that we need to consider his full month HRA for Nov-12 because his previous employer is not taken into consider for Tax.

So can we go ahead and consider full month HRA for Nov-12 or from his DOJ (23rd Nov 2012).

A CA Firm Registered on W.E.F. 1-11-2012.
and a Pvt. Co. appionted that firm as a statutory auditor because his statutory auditor resigns. Procedure for appointing that firm as a auditor is as given below:

2-11 Consent obtained from New Auditor and notice for Board Meeting.

3-11 Board Meeting Held

4-11 Notice for General Meeting

27-11 General Meeting Held and appiontment letter given to new auditor.

So, if i am wrong anywhere please correct me and give the solution.
