Hi Team,
I need small clarification with regard to HRA Calculation for Tax.
One of my Employee joined our Company on 23rd Nov 2012 and as per this we have calculated HRA from his DOJ for HRA exemption.
But employee raising is query stating that we need to consider his full month HRA for Nov-12 because his previous employer is not taken into consider for Tax.
So can we go ahead and consider full month HRA for Nov-12 or from his DOJ (23rd Nov 2012).

If you are considering full month rent paid then you have to also consider his previous income also.

I Suggest You to Go Through His Previous Form 16.
Your (Employer) Liability is to Deduct His Tax Liability, Whatever be the case, Consider His Income and Claim i.e. deductions Every Thing.
