just wanted to know when is the next convocation. the last was held in July-august....i became a member on 6th july 2011...when will be my convocation held...

can u tell, what if i m not able to attend the convocation.....

I have completed the Articleship Training last 3 months back & i filed form 108 & even i got a letter from the institute about completion of training. i attempted 2 times for ca pcc exams but i am not able to clear. Now for appear for the next coming exams should i re- register or what. please tell me the procedure. please mail the procedures to shilpa.ramki.r@gmail.com

i have attempt second time cpt but unfortunatly not cleared.... and i m 3rd year b.com student...whether i should directly go for ipcc after graduation...or icwa.

can anyone tell me that who got the highest marks in the history of ca ipcc..up till now..??

A person paid ST in Feb 2011 and filed the return in April 11..
In Dec 11, he realised that there was an error in the return and now wants to revise it and claim refund of the ST paid ( subject to unjust enrichment )..

Can he revise the return now ? Clearly the 90 days limit has passed..

Also the conditions mentioned for self adjustment are not met..

A Public Sector Company is insuring all its Employees under a Group Insurance Policy.
The Claims aganist the Policy is first paid by the Insurance Co. to the employer and there after the employer transfers the claim to the Bank Account of the claimant employee.
1)Is this claim taxable.
2)Has the employer any obligation for TDS on this payment.

how to revised return of TDS by using consolidated e-tds file from tin.nsdl if i have only 1 deductee in my TDS return, where tin.nsdl facility center requires minimum 3??

An educational institute deduct TDS u/s.194C or u/s. 194J for payment made to visiting faculty ? Is it contract payment or professional payment ?
