I started a business for which i had to pay a security deposit....Now i have closed down the business and hence the deposit is refundable.....but i do not have the receipt for the same(lost)....Is there any legal document which would help? affidavit or indemnity bond

While calculating quorum whether we will include additional directors and nominee directors appointed by cg or not?
I.e 1/3 *( directors appointed till date + adiitional directors if appointed+ directors appointed by cg if appointed)

Hi,
Our company is a software & IT company with employee’s strength less than 20. We need to know the applicability of the ESI our company.
Some says that for companies coming under factory act requires minimum 10 employees for registration and companies coming under shop and establishment act require minimum 20 employees. So, please clear us that our company comes under which Act and we need to do the registration for ESI or not.
Also clear that this limit of employees is based on the salary less than 15K or based on the total strength of the company and in case there is no employees paid with the salary less than 15K than also the company need to do the registration.
Please clear my queries regarding the same.

1. Our establishment is already covered under pf act & now its paying pf to its employees but now employer wants pay Rs.7/- per employee as per the provision below
Employees' Provident Fund Scheme:
1.10% of total wages on which Provident Fund is recovered subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- shall be payable by the employer every month . Prior to 1.8.98, w.e.f. 1.8.98 .65% of total wages
Employees' Pension Scheme Scheme:
No administrative charges are payable by the employer .The entire cost of administration is met by Central Government .
Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme:
0.01% of the total on which the Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance contributions recovered subject to a minimum of Rs. 2/- per month .
My queation are we eligiable to do so?

We have a contract with a service provider for housekeeping and that provider has provided us contractual employees (9 numbers) for the past 10 years at a monthly charge.
We now need to replace the service provider and what to give him notice.
