hi, i m currently doing CA( Final) having attempt in Nov,2010. Actually i m planning to do CWA besides my articleship. please tell me the all formalities regarding CWA course and its training module.

One of my friend has cleared PE-II exams in May 2006 attempt. After that he enrolled for articleship in November 2006. Since after clearing PE-II he opted for MBA course and without disclosing the fact to the Institute and the employer.
After sum time employer had terminated him when he came 2 know the fact.
Now the query is whether that PE-II degree still valid if he now wants to enroll for CA Final by starting articleship all over again.
can u let me know from where i can confirm this thing from Institute with the help of old registration no.

Hello experts.. a big favour. My friends say that only if we have influence we can get into industrial training. Is it true? and can i know the names of companies who regularly recruit trainees so that i can approach those companies? Most companies I approached don't know that there is something called "industrial training " very sad and embarrassing. Hope I get the clarrification soon

I am a MBA (Finance) professional working in the finance departement of a firm. My field of choice is Corporate Finance. As per my profession everything looks good till now. I have just started working and would want that i can learn as much as possible in initial few years. I want suggestion regarding the following:

1. Is MBA a good enough degree to further your career in the field of Corporate Finance considering there's a direct competition with CA's.
2. Do the BIG FOUR, auditing firms hire MBA from the market? Is there any scope for me to apply for them?
3. With which degrees, if any required, should i equip myself to keep myself competitive in comparison to CA's?

I am a worried fresher in the job market, Please suggest to ease my worries and plan my career path.

Hi i m chartered accountant (Nov. 2008) and also cleared cs final (June 2007) in my articleship i had experience in transfer pricing and company secretarial matters. After two yrs of article ship i joined a MNC (industry) in the area of transfer pricing. Now after qualification i m working in one of the big4 in Transfer Pricing department.
My query is: after having dual qualification whould i continue with transfer pricing. If i worked in big4 2-3 yrs in this area there will not be any exit opportunity for me for other area.
I love working in Transfer Pricing....bt as far as makin career in only this field i m somewhat in doubt.....please guide me....
