One of my friend has cleared PE-II exams in May 2006 attempt. After that he enrolled for articleship in November 2006. Since after clearing PE-II he opted for MBA course and without disclosing the fact to the Institute and the employer.
After sum time employer had terminated him when he came 2 know the fact.
Now the query is whether that PE-II degree still valid if he now wants to enroll for CA Final by starting articleship all over again.
can u let me know from where i can confirm this thing from Institute with the help of old registration no.

It will be valid, only he has to start articles from first, after 2 years of articles he can take final exams then rest articles...Its better to contact ICAI and find out this by old registration number..All the best
