Dear experts

i've completed my ca articleship training. i did not get through my final exams. due to financial problems i should now go for a job.
how much salary can i expect. i've completed all at first attempt and completed my cwa inter.
recently i attended to an interview. they offered me 14000/- p.m.(gross), post being sr-executive in internal audit dept.
was that the correct pay am i getting?
through some discussions i came to know that i can expect atleast of 20000/- p.m. is that true?
plese resolve my query.
if possible please suggest me where i can good pay for my qualifications

I desire to do CMA of UK. Have completed CFA from ICFAI. Can anybody give me a clear idea and guidance

My GM is Chartered Accountant and asked a question. He rendered 24 years of service in our company and was already enrolled himself as a associate member with the Institute and not as a fellow member. He wanted to join in practice as a CA after 2014 i.e after his retirement
As such kindly advice
1. Whether he should enroll himself as fellow member ?
2. What special benefit he will get from his enrolment as fellow member if it is required ?
3. If he is not enrolled himself as fellow member whether he will lose his position in the field of his future practice

I just passed in ICWA final in Dec,2009(exam)
not yet recieved certificates
still want to apply for government notifications that are currently available in hand
to do so i need to enter the date of qualification
what date should I enter?
please suggest me immediately as the due dates r nearer....

My result for icwai final released on 20th february has been withheld.I dont know what is my result. I am very nervous. my freinds are saying only passed candidates results will be withheld. is it true. can anyone please cleary my query.

Can anyone tell me whether it is necessary to be double graduate inorder to Practice or do job for Chartered Accountants of ICAI abroad? As I heard that being just a B.com is recognised as undergraduate abroad and doing only CA will not help and CAs who are just B.com will have to answer CA Exams of respected Abroad CA Institutes, but who are M.com and CA will not have to answer. Will doing CPA instead of M.com be a solution to the problem?

HI my query is am I eligible for UGC NET entrance for lecturership.
Qual: B.Com (43%) cwa (58 %) all three stages,all first time and waiting stage iv results. (overall expecting more than 55%)

I have not done P.G.
am I eligible for the exam on the basis of graduation and icwai.

I M FINAL CA STUDENT AND MY ATTEMPT IS IN NOV 2011.

I M CONFUSED REGARDING WHAT AFTER BECOMING CA. I THINK I SHOULD THINK AND DEVELOP MYSELF FROM NOW ONLY. I KNOW SOME MAY THINK ITS TOO EARLY BUT SOMETIME I THINK WHAT WILL I DO AFTER CA.

I HAVE PLANNED TO DO JOB FOR 10 YEARS AND PRACTICE AFTERWARDS.BUT I AM WORKING IN SMALL FIRM WHERE AUDIT EXPOSURE IN NIL. I FEAR I WILL GET SALARY OF RS. 20000 OR 30000 AS I WORK IN A SMALL FIRM.

ANOTHER PROBLEM IS SHOULD I SPECIALISE IN ONE FIELD FOR E.G. TAX,SERV TAX, CUSTOMS, EXCISE, GO FOR TEACHING OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL OF THESE.

PLEASE ADVISE ME HOW TO PLAN FOR A BRIGHT CAREER.
