Can a Chartered Accountant in practice take up an assignment with an MNC as a consultant? However he/she would not be as an employee of the company but would work on a contract basis. Would this be against the Code of Professional Ethics?

sir i have cleared the 1st gr. of CA final & result is awaited for 2nd gr., now i wish to establish my career in indirect taxes (compliance+ litigation , as start LLb this year), can anyone guide me wat will be better 4 me either join CA firm or LAW firm?????
and if u suggest 4 LAw firm then can u refer asuch best firm where i can apply and will get the job as a trainee/assistant??????

i have seen many Cost Accoutant after passing final exam find difficult to get job asper thier expectation or even work for les payment

I want to know wheter there is an exemption from computer training if one is having certificate of ca computer training.

If there is no exemption then can student directly take the online exam and then is any fee required to be paid?

I want to know in what capacities a practising CA can work.

Whether a practising CA can join partnership in an existing firm and can run his individual practise as well. If so what will be the status in both the cases.

What can be other permutations & Combinations. Please advise

I am a C.A. - PCC and M.com Student. I have taken a permission by given form no 112 for M.com external course.

(1) My Question is can I join C.F.A. (Chartered Financial Analysis) Course along with C.A.?

(2) ICAI rules allow me to join C.F.A.?

(3) Should I have to take a permission from Institute, if i want to start C.F.A.?

I am Final Old Course Student. My articleship period left is 7 months i.e started from 07/08/2007 & ending on 06/08/2010. I would like to go for an Industrial Training(as per regulations minimum requirement is 9 months). Can I Join Industrial Taining Now by doing training 2 months extra? Please help?
