Hi,I am Bcom,LLB and in last attempt i have cleared CS 1 groop Now appearing for remaning CS professional groups.
I have more than 7 year of experience in the field of Account & Taxation(mostly Indirect Tax)in manufacting co( Domestic & MNC) As a Sr. A/c off./A/c off.with a CTC of around 5 lakh.

I would like to know what sort of carrier option I have if i pass the CS professional examination,because most of the people say that you are LLB & CS so you have a very good scope but my experience is in A/c N Taxation so people saying that you have a degree of of law & secretarial,so are more of legal & secratarial matter & not an A/c & taxation.
Please guide and suggest me that what are the exact job profile of mine would be in future.
Can CS.LLB. would also hold a good position in big campany or they want only CA/CWA for the a/c & taxation?

I have recently passed IPCC both groups in second attempt with 385 marks. Now I have to go on Articleship but here is a very big problem. There is no earning member in my family now so i have to take the responsibility. please tell me what should I do for my survival.

my skills: good in computers & fluent in english.

My question is, is quitting banking for becoming C.s a right decision? I am 28 & working with a small-sized banking company at middle-management level. I have already enrolled myself for c.s exec prog. My salary is around 3 - 4 lacs p.a. and 15 yrs down the line, it may at best become 12-15 lacs p.a. I currently find studying for c.s very interesting & engaging.

I am a student staying in mumbai.I have completed b.com but from different university (not mumbai university).
can i pursue CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY.

I gave IPCC nov 2012 examination Group 1 only and wasnt able to clear it
Was short by 8 marks
I have applied for revaluation
If I get a positive result from revaluation
After that will ICAI allow me to apply for second group for may 13
As in now i have applied for group 1 again May 13...
Please help !

Someone of my known had cleared his 2nd group of CA Final in "Nov,1986", and now wishes to continue the course. So is he eligible to do so?
If yes, then how? And also does he has to give both groups or just the 1st group?

I am Neeraj also a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.Currently I am working with a company for last four month and having a profile of Assistant Manager Accounts and Finance.

As all of us know that IFRS is already implemented and applicable from 2012 on listed companies and from 2014 IFRS applied to each and every company.

So, I have decided to do a IFRS course from ICAI but I would like to have your openion whether it would be beneficial for me in future as a Chartered Accountant.
