Is any one let me know what is the benefit, if we export the goods to IRAN in INR. and procedure to avail the benefit.

I want to export fresh vegetables to USA. What are the neccessary Documentation ,Permissions and Licences required for the export.

We have a manufacturing plant & registered office.Both premises are different.We are the manufacturer and exporter of auto components. Also we have a service export from our registered office. Our IEC code for plant & office is same. From the service export we got SFIS license from DGFT. License registered at Bombay Air Cargo.

We use said license to pay import duty against the import shipment of our office (only those material which required for service departments i.e. Design, Testing, Electronics etc.)

Can we use said license to pay import duty of our plant shipment (those material which required for manufacturing purpose)Plant shipments are by sea mode and arrive at Nhava Sheva port.

Please clarify.

A person (Say A) is having IEC code in his individual name. He is a proprietor of XYZ Equipments. Now he wants the IEC code to be changed in the name of XYZ Equipments. Is it possible & what is the procedure ?

A newly formed pvt ltd co is yet to obtain IE CODE. It wants to make purchase advance to a foreign entity. Since it doesn't have IE CODE it wants to remit the payment through its sister concern in which one of the directors is proprietor. Is it permissible under FEMA..? pls reply asap.

I am an individual and not running any firm or industry. I want to import Audio video device for my personal use. For this purpose can i request for an IEC code.

I have bought an IPAD from china. Total cost of the item including shipping is Rs 8134. The item is detained by customs and send a letter asking some documents. All the necessary papers required by them is couriered by me. Today i have received a call asking to send customs penalty payment of Rs 1000 as Demand draft in favour of commissioner of customs. Moreover they have informed me that post receipt of the DD, item will be released and i have to pay Rs 2750 as customs duty.

Please let me now why i was charged penalty? I have not given any wrong information to customs and not imported any prohibited item.

Why for an item worth Rs 8134 inclusive of shipping charges is charged heavy customs duty. As far as i know there is no customs duty for IPAD instead only 10% CVD and other cess in total falls between 14-16% of the total cost

Please help. Where to complaint this?
