A CA Articleship Student undergoing training under a Chartered Accountant as per the guidelines of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India assists in various professional assignments. The role includes supporting audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance work for clients.

Key responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, filing GST and income tax returns, and handling regulatory compliances such as ROC filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The articled assistant also helps in financial analysis, documentation, and client coordination while gaining practical exposure to accounting standards and tax laws.

The objective of the role is to provide hands-on professional training in audit, taxation, and financial reporting while developing analytical and professional skills required for a Chartered Accountant.
