Hi,
We can avail only 50% of input of excise duty in 23C. But in the previous year in the month of February 2012, the whole 100% input has been availed. The E.R.1 return cannot be filed again. So what measures shall be taken now?

Excise limit for ssi

We have a SSI Unit manufacture Blind Rivets in Haryana.

Our Turn over 2012-13 is 1.20 Crores. but in 2013-14 we have reached 1.38 crores.

Do we have to go for excise registration. If Yes what would be the correct time.

Mrp - central excise act

If a MRP is fixed in a product and when at the time of clearance from the place of manufacture is altered to decrease the retail sale price, then what will be the price at which duty will be paid ? MRP fixed earlier or reduced MRP?

Query on assessable value

For the purpose of calculation of Assessable value, the installation charges is not considered in the value of asset purchased. Why? (eventhough this cost is directly related to the cost of the asset)
