We are Registered Partnership Firm. We are planning for running a Banking Operations such as Savings Account, Mortgage Loans, Gold Loans.So we wish to know what kind of Licenses we need to Obtain.Can we operate Savings Account services for our customers by taking Pawn Broker License or else what are norms or procedures to be followed.

As per company act can we calculate depreciationy on total cost of asset or calculate after residual value?

For WDV depreciation method

total cost of asset-100000
Residual value=5000
should we calculate depreciation on 100000 ya 95000?

Sir one of my friend has became charterd accountant befor 6 months .he has served his articalship in a mid size firm he has exposure of all i.e income tax ,vat ,service tax,Audit.now he wants to do the job in a company.how much intial package he will get?
or he shall joined the carporates after 2-3 years of exposure

it is written in guideline of sebi that a company must receive minimum of 90% of subscription against entire issue before making allotment and in next para it is written sebi regulation that application money to be paid by applicants along with application money shall not be less than 25% if the issue price. may I have a clear description about this.

Dear sir / mam, I'm in my 2nd year of articleship and now I want to take leave as I am suffering from a disease that requires me to take rest for 4 months. I want to know the difference as to if I take leave from my principal as normal leave or I take leave on medical grounds as prescribed by institute , a ground for termination . What difference it will make to my articleship and my exams. Which is more beneficial for me?? Please guide me about the same.

Dear Sir,
I have invested in Shares of Publice listed public company.I was living in Rajasthan at that time. after i have been transferd to Mumbai and I have applied for Pan No and Pan No was alloted me and my name shown as Shivkumardeviprasad.Shiv kumar is my name and devi prasad is my father name.

Now if I want to apply for demate account to convert my shares in electronic form,than no is ready to open my account in my name " Shiv Brokers is ready to open my account in my name " Shiv Kumar Gupta s/o Devi Prasad. As per SEBI guidelines Demat account will be open only as per PAN Card.
Please guide , what to do. However I have all other ID in my name as Shiv kumar Gupta (AAdhar card, pass port, DL ,Ration Card. Not only this I am filing income tax retrun also in Shiv Kumar Gupta also.
