I have to inform you that I have a PAN CARD. I am a book publisher and my company is a Proprietorship Firm. Recently I am applying for ISBN to Ministry of Human Resource Development, and they rejected my application two times for the reason “The applicant has not attached PAN card of his publishing agency” though I submitted copy of my own pan card with the application.

So could you please inform me can I have pan card in the name of my company though it is a proprietorship firm?
If not then it will be helpful if you can give me any govt. website link or something like that which can I show to them.
Request you kindly look into the matter.
