My firm is in TamilNadu, one of our customer in Maharastra deducted 2% as Works contract tax. Now they came to know that they have wrongly deducted Works contract tax.

How our customer able to refund it.

If they issue any certificate against that, can we from Tamil Nadu Sales Tax adjust this tax against our sales tax payment.

Please tell me the procedure.

sir,in my form 16 some entries are wrong and my tax has been deducted more about Rs.100. i do not want to claim for refund.due to wrong entries, what are the disadvantages for me? is it compulsory to correct these entries ? i will not go for any loan near about 2 yrs.

Hello sir.........i haven't received my cpt marksheet till yet. i passed in december last year. i wrote a letter to noida office, mailed them and even ranged them up, but no reply and none of their phone numbers is working now. please suggest me what to do. i even consulted my area icai bhawan, they said that the downloaded marksheet from net is valid. i am in doubt. please help me...

My client is in Jewellery Business...
He lends money on Gold...
He has created a HUF and wishes to do the lending business in the name of HUF...
The HUF is created by Rs 25,000 received as Gift from Karta's sister...
Now since more money is required to do the business, how can i create the wealth of the HUF???
Can the member's of the HUF gift money to the HUF???
Is the income received on those gifts taxable in the hands of the Individual..???
Please advise any other factors which u think fit for the above case...
