I'm a bcom 3rd yr student. I passed IPCC both groups in May'11 attempt. My question is, what are the regulations(with recent changes)in doing articleship and a regular course together? Will there be any penalty or delay in granting membership or altogether a denial for membership? Is a degree essential to start up one's own firm or for being a partner in a partnership firm?

Hi There!! I am a proprietor owning an SSI unit in Pune. My business is 14 months old. I want to expand my business and shall need finance from outside sources to further invest in fixed assets.I shall need about 50 lacs in phases.
My questions to experts are -
1. Should I apply for a business loan or should I apply for a 'Cash Credit Account'?
2. Which is the most reasonable source of finance for SSI's? I guess SIDBI is most helpful to SSI's but I need your suggestions.
3. Can anyone give me approximate interest rates charges to SSI fir business loan and Cash Credit Account?
4. Any sought of government scheme or subsidy provided by Govt of India that can be of great advantage?

If I take a home loan and pay EMI regularly for 15 yrs (Period: 20yrs), but due some unknown circumstances would not be able to the rest of EMI.
Who would be the owner or whether I would be able to the sale the property?????
Or bank will sale the property and pay me the rest of money????
How the calculation would be done for not able to pay EMI????

we are builders, when we get receipt, we will deposit to bank, and entry will be
by bank
to party
and the same will be transferred to contract receipt only at end of year
But in one case, the party didnt allow us to deposit the cheque dated 16.09.10 and receipt issued for the same transcation.
but as it is not deposited to bank, its not shown in accounts software.
at the end of financial preparation, i want to know how to close the entry.
