I'm a bcom 3rd yr student. I passed IPCC both groups in May'11 attempt. My question is, what are the regulations(with recent changes)in doing articleship and a regular course together? Will there be any penalty or delay in granting membership or altogether a denial for membership? Is a degree essential to start up one's own firm or for being a partner in a partnership firm?

1. You can do the regular course alongwith CA, but you have to fill form 112.
2. IF you fill 112 then no penalty.
3. If you want to start practice then Certificate of Practice is needed which is given only when you become a member and apply for Certificate of Practice.
