My ca final attempt is in may 2011, can I buy audit & law books now or should wait for another edition (relevant for may 2011)?

For Audit and Law no need to wait...buy the same now and start preparation. It is also required for the utilize your current time.
You can always update yourself later. So buy the desired books now and start preparation.
