Dear all,
Advertisement expense of Rs. 4,26,000 have been incurred by a Company during the financial year.
State the accounting and tax treatment for this.
Its very urgent.

Just book the expenses. Make sure TDS has been deducted. Keep proper bill and records for future.

Agree with Mr. Sanjay,If the benefit of the Advertisement expenses more than a year, it can be defferred also

Hi, after the introduction of AS 26, it can not be shown into balance sheet. It need to be expensed to P/L A/c.
