09 February 2009 I have a client. they have taken TAN. but only once they have deducted TDS and thereafter they never deducted TDS . is it neccessary for him to file nil return for every quater?

09 February 2009 I am not agreed with the above viws. I have discussed this matter with Income Tax Department. There is no need to file the NIL TDS Return. This has been confirmed by their helpline centre also. If anybody having any practical case, then kindly let me know, so that I can also update myself.
