Whether dir 11 necessary?

19 January 2015 One of the directors has resigned and given resignation letter to the company but is not filing DIR 11. Is it necessary on behalf of company that the outgoing director files DIR 11. Company has filed DIR 12 for the resigning director. Please comment.

20 January 2015 Tell him/her, AS per new Act, it is personal responsibility of the outgoing director to intimate the same otherwise will deemed to be in default and liable for fine
