Use of central excise registration

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a query regarding registration for Central Excise.
One of our client is importing raw material from registered supplier in abroad. He is paying excise duty more than cost of material.,suppose cost of material is Rs.6000.,he is paying excise duty Rs.8000.
Can he avail tax benefits if registered under Excise Authority? If so, please suggest me the procedure in detail.

The tax should not be more than value of the goods. you should consult with any professional.

YES YOU CAN AVAIL THE INPUT CREDIT ON THE BASIS OF BILL OF ENTRY
