If father purchase Insurance Policy for his son name and son not dependent on father and father not dependent on father then it is possiable son clain benefit u/c 80c

For claiming benefit under section 80 C payments must be made by the taxpayer.
So if the son has to claim the benefit he should pay the premium towards Insurance policy.
