Tds wrong deducted

18 June 2013 Land acquair by haryana govt and 10 persantage tds deduct by govt on intrest portion on 1/2/2013 .But i have not give pan that time and tds deduct by govt. 20 persantage . Now 17/5/2013 i have give pan to huda office what i can do.

19 June 2013 It is very unlikely that HUDA would revise their return and refund TDS to you. This is because there is a change in the assessment year and it wll not be possible for them to adjust this excess TDS against any othe deductee. Moreover, the TDS was rightly deducted by them since it was you who did not provide the PAN in time.
In such circumstance the best thing to do is to file a return and claim the TDS as a refund. But before you do this make sure they atleast revise their etds return to incorporate your PAN in it so that the TDS amount will appear in the Form 26AS. THis is very very important
