any tds rate applicable for repair & mtn., of machiney if applicable which section,rate of tds and threshold amt pls give me detail for it it comes under which category service/contract

16 January 2012 1) Yes TDS required to be deducted u/s 194C.
Rate:
Individual/HUF @1%
Others @2%
If PAN not given 20%.

Threshold limit:

Single Bill Rs. 30000/-
Annual Payment Rs. 75000/- p.a.
