UNDER SEC 194 C IT IS TDS @2% FOR A TRANSPORT CONTRACTOR OR 1% FOR TRANSPORT SUB CONTRACTOR .
10% SURCHARE IS APPLICABLE FOR PAYMENTS ABOVE RS. TEN LAKHS .
EDUCATION CESS @3% ON TOTAL TAX.
LIMIT FOR TDS IS RS. 20000/ FOR A SINGLE SUM CREDITED OR PAID .
OR AGGREGATE OF RS. 50000/DURING THE FINANCIAL YEAR.
