Tds on fixed asset

sir, In a software company, an air conditioner worth 80000/- has been purchased. TDS is deducted on that amount. hw can tds be deducted on fixed asset purchase. please guide me. Thanku

no tds on assets purchases . =only installation charges will TDS applicable if it cross the limit u/s 194C.

TDS should not be deducted on Purchase Price of Asset. TDS to be deducted on on installation charges u/s 194C if threshold limit is crossed.
