For Contractors Sec 194C will be applicable.
Rate:
Individual/HUF @1%.
Others @2%.
No PAN 20%.
Threshold Limit:
Single Bill30000/-
Annual Payment75000/- p.a.
In case of Transport Contract if PAN provided no TDS deduction is required. But details of such transactions shall be given in Quarterly TDS return.
