Tds - consolidated fvu file

13 January 2012 hellos.

i filed tds returns, which now i want to revise.
while trying to download fvu file from NSDL site, the error say - 'challan voucher details dont match'

fact is - that while making the TDS payment, i did not make separate cheques for separate quarters..but made cheques for separate sections for all quarters together. while filing, i selected all challan together, downloaded a single .CSI file and attached with every quarter return. my return got accepted.

So, now if in q1, tds is rs. say 27000...challan attahced with the return was of total amount of all quarters...say 80,000

cud this be the reason i am getting this error....Its very urgent...Please help.!

13 January 2012 No that is not the reason for error. Only the details of challan voucher given should match with the return. Please check whether the details mentioned by you is correct or not. Even then if problem persists just contact the NSDL TIN CALL CENTRE executive for remedy.
