Sir, there is a firm who provides inspection n testing services for product calibration with calibration certificate and charged labour charges, then is TDS provision applicable on such income if billing exceeds 20k

Yes. TDS applicable u/s 194C.
Limit of Rs20000/- has been raised to Rs.30000/- on single bill from 01.07.2010.
For Annual Payment it has been raised to Rs.75000/- p.a. fro 01.07.2010

Dear Sanjay Ji,
As per my view, Testing & calibration certificate given by engineer, Tds will be deducted under seciton 194 J for these charges.

If these charges are in the nature of Technical service provided by engineer then i agree with Bansal Sir, 194J will apply.
