16 October 2010 i m depositing the t.d.s. amount for f.y. 2009-10 through inter-net banking.but by mistake, the amount of t.d.s. wrongly deposited in the f.y. 2008-09. how it can be corrected. plzz reply immediately..

16 October 2010 The only remedy available is to approach the TDS officer of your jurisdiction and explain him entire case and get the thing rectified in the system. You may need to file an affidavit and indemnity with the tax authorities.
