13 December 2012 i want to make share value as 100/- .
many companies share values are 1/- or 10/-.
Why these companies are fixing little amount as share face value, why not 100/- 0r 1000/- per share ?

The stamp duty is paid on total Authorised capital of the company and not on number of shares.So the company is free to fix their company share face value of any amount as he deemed fit.
