Dear Frndz!
please let me know whether there is any exemption limit for levy of service tax? like i heared tht if amount of services provided is less than 4 lacs in a year there is no service tax liability?

It is 10 lakhs. If the amount of service provided in a year is less than 10 lakhs then there is no need to pay service tax.
However if you have still collected the same from your clients then you are liable to pay the same.

Trash hold limit is 10 Lacs for Service Tax.

ac repairing & maintenance charges Rs.2000/- and spare parts also sold for Rs.500/-+VAT 4% for providing such service.
How should i bill the client?? service tax will b charged on which amount?should i prepare two bills for service and spare parts sold? please advise!!!

service tax only applicable on 2000/- only.
