Is it calculated on Gross Total Income or Net Taxable income. Suppose my GTI is Rs 525000 Will I get rebate

only if ur net income is less then 5,00,000 then only sec 87A is applicable otherwise u cannot get 2000 rebate.

If ur total income is less than 5 lac, you r eligible to get rebate.
