Sec 194da

This query is : Resolved

16 July 2016 Dear Sir,
An assesse has received payment from LICI for a sum of Rs. 1.50 Lacs and they have deducted TDS @ 3% which is reflected in Assesse's 26AS for A.Y. 2016-17. So whether it should be shown in as Income from Other Sources and TDS amount to be claimed.

Please give your valuable reply which would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Abhishek Roy Choudhury.

16 July 2016 This income will be shown under the head income from other sources and amount deducted as TDS will be claimed while filing of Income tax return.

27 July 2016 I think amount deposited to LICI will have to be deducted from all the payment made by LICI.
