Salaried employee did not file itr for last 3 years

08 October 2013 My client is a employee of NDPL from last 3 years and tax is being deducted from his salary every year but he had not filed his income tax return. now he has received a notice from the I.T. department that you have not filed the ITR and being asked to furnish detail in enclosed performa bt that does not contain any particular regarding salary.It is just asking to select from one option:
1.return under preparation
2. no taxable income
3. business closed
4. (left blank)

08 October 2013 u should select option1 and file return immediately if time limit permits u/s 139(4) for belated return.
