Is there any hike in limit from present on transaction of above Rs.4999/- for affixing revenue stamp. If so please reply with details.

04 May 2012 Section 2(23) of the Indian Stamp Act,1899 makes it mandatory for affixing of revenue stamp on any receipt ,as defined therein, above Rs 5,000.
