My wife was expired on last nov. month. she was the agent of LIC & received the commission after deduct the TDS & I am also filling the return of income tax. so sir please tell me the way of Return filing of My & my Wife.

26 January 2015 File the return of your wife reckoning income till the date of expiry as representative assesse. After the date of expiry include all income in your return.

26 January 2015 Further, you have to complete certain formalities as regards the legal heir also.
.
You have to apply as a legal heir through your e-filing account and have to upload certain documents like, Death Certificate, Xerox copy of PAN cards of both of you, an affidavit and a legal heir certificate from the appropriate authority. You can know the procedure in detail from the website also.

Yes , Please log in your e-filing accounts. registered yourself as legal heir through link provided as register as legal heir in MY ACCOUNT.

submit death certificate pan card copy of your wife, legal heir certificate and your self attested pan card copy

CPC will approve and file returns after getting approval
