Rental place attract service tax

13 October 2015 I have taken Gala on rental basis in Mumbaifrom Mrs Xyz, who is resident of Jaipur. my query is I am liable to pay Service tax.. my Eleven month Total rent is 165000/-. Please Help as the CA of Jaipur says that as per Rajasthan Law, any rental place attract Service tax.

13 October 2015 you have taken on rent na.. Then rent liability will b of the provider not the receiver...

secondly rent liability will come only if he crosses the min exemption limits
