for the AY 2009-10 tax Refund amt is Rs 57645 and at same time I have tax payable of Rs 7452 under Computation of Fringe Benefits and Tax
what shall be the procedure for refund?
whether first I have to pay Rs 7452 and then ask for Refund or any other way to claim for refund

Claim refund dues will be deducted and only the balance will be refunded.

why are you asking for 2009-10?..is it a belated return or what?

no its not belated return
refund is pending
my client was asking for refund but the same was rejected and under refund status it shows as "Contact Jurisdictional Assessing Officer"
the same is for AY 2010-11 & 2011-12

Contact the jurisdictional Assessing Officer. The said Assessing Officer has been given the rights to issue the refund. The refund shall be issued after netting out the demand if any.
Be in touch with the Assessing Officer of your jurisdiction. If possible carry the screen shot stating "Contact Jurisdictional Assessing Officer"

any other documents need to carry?

Normally, the assessing Officer asks for the ENTIRE return of income e filed. The AO also required us to substantiate our claim of TDS certificates etc. A level headedness is required under such situations. All the best.
