Income Tax Returns were upto A. Y. 2010 - 2011. While filing Income Tax Return filing for A. Y. 2011 - 2012 online I have forgotten password. While retrieving, three alternatives are given but I do not know the reply of secret answer nor have digital signature nor IT acknowledgement No. for A. Y. 2011 - 2012 nor A. Y. 2012 - 2013, since the returns yet to be filed for both years. For resending link it asked password. Kindly let me have solution for ti ?

In one case, I got reply within 6 hours since the previous returns were filed from my registered E Mail ID. If above details are asked from registered E Mail ID, they reply immediately but if some other has filed from different ID, then they do not reply since it is to be send from Registered ID. What is the alternative ?

it is not required that the request for the new password should be made from the same registered e mail ID., i got many times in my clients case., where the registered id is not mine and i requested for the new password to the income tax dept., mentioning all the above details
