12 April 2010 Hi, Sec. 4 of the partnership Act : "partnership is a relation between persons who hv agreed to share the profits of a business carried on by all or any one of them acting for all"
It means that any person can become a pertner. Further, "a partner has no general right to enter into partnership without the consent of other partners" Makes it clear that a firm can enter into partnership with another firm with the consent of all the partners.
