Online filing of 201(VAT Return)

19 March 2010 I am getting error while uploading form no. 201
"Please download new template of ammended VAT forms and upload it again"

I already had downloaded latest form from the website : https://www.commercialtax.gujarat.gov.in

What might be the reason for denying the file tobe uploaded?

19 March 2010 This type of error comes while any changes has been done in form 201 or might be you are using cut, copy, paste command in the sheet. Also avoid to put value with decimal. Confirm error I can say after reviewing of your form.

20 March 2010 the format is as such since may 08.
are you filling return first time?
it can be problem in web server, that's why this massege appears some time.
you are suggested download the form 201 once again and type all the figures, don't copy and paste, then upload it once again.
