25 June 2010 Dear Sir,

Can any one tell me, the Service Notification No.8/2005 whether inforce or not. If it is in force what is the documentation proceedure for not to charge the service tax by our fabricator/JOb worker for excisable goods.

Kindly guide me.

May be a letter from the client that the the goods shall be used in or in relation to manufacture of goods .. .. .. on which appropriate duty of excise is payable.
