My friend have got no notice u/s 245 section code 143(1a) Rs. 2870/-

He is only received salary. file ITR-1. not availbale of Intimation u/s 143(1A).

how to tax demand paid to which challan used for demand payment this is which type of demand come U/S 245. what to do now.

you are requested to please inform on urgent basis. thank fo advance

15 September 2015 It is an intimation to adjust the tax demand relating to earlier year from the current year refund.
No need to pay the amount. Check whether the pending demand of earlier year is in order.

thanks for reply. have not any refund of the current asscssement year 2015-16. only shown demand Rs. 2870/- have a paid or not, if i have paid which challan would be choose 280 or other. please advice
