Non updation of professional dsc

18 October 2012 I am a practicing CA. I have already regitered my DSC with the MCA. Now i have renewed the same. When I try to update the same by going through the procedure as mentioned under "Register your DSC" option after all the details I receive the following error

" USER IS ALREADY REGISTERED AGAINST THIS PAN"

Please check whether your earlier digital is registered or not and also whether the period of validity has been expired or not.

18 October 2012 My earlier DSC was registered. However please note that the query is solved as the same was due to some technical faults.

19 October 2012 Yes, these types of message comes due to technical problems, and sometimes signature gets registered and this message reflects.

Otherwise, a dialouge box appears which shows a message that this DSC is already registered would you like to continue or update.. ..something like that...
