I applied for approval of name and got the remark from ROC "General Name". What does it mean and what do I need to do? Please help me.

I will suggest you to read Name availability Guidelines 2011 given with Form-1A, it will help you to understand the same of your query.
For example:
If the name is only a general one like Cotton Textile Mills Ltd., or Silk Manufacturing Ltd., it cannot be allowed. But if such general description contains some specific aspects like Indore Cotton Textile Mills Ltd. or Jain Silk Manufacturing Company Ltd., that may be allowed.
