25 June 2012 MVAT on builders was not there till 2009-10.Agreements registered on or after 01/04/2010 are covered under this composition scheme.
and VAT @ 1% of value as per agreement or stamp duty valuation whichever is higher is levied.

From 20.06.2006 to 31.03.2010 - MVAT Composition Scheme @ 5% is payable

W.e.f. 1.04.2010 onwards MVAT Composition Scheme @ 1% is payable subject to certain conditions provided the builder has obtained TIN ....
