In MOA and AOA Managing Director name is not there,than on Company cheque book he can signed to payment to creditors.

you have to authorised him by giving a copy of board resolution to the bank, then there will no problem. however it is not necessary that his/her name must be in the MOA/AOA because may be he/she is first subscriber. if they are not, then there name will not enter in the MOA or AOA. but yes they should be authorised by the Company to sign the chq on behalf of the company.
